Field day for the sundays.

Astonishingly, MTV’s The Real World is about to slither into its 20th season. In the new May issue of Details I argue, in typically hyperbolic fashion, that it’s, like, the most important show on the planet. Feel free to heckle and hurl tomatoes from the balconies.

So far we’ve been getting a freakishly good turnout at various X Saves the World events. At the Barnes & Noble in Tribeca on Monday evening there were people sitting on the floor, and one older gentleman who’d snagged a seat in the front row seemed very determined to ask me questions about religion, a topic that I almost always try my best to dodge. Only later did it dawn on me that the title of my book might have contributed to the confusion. Just to clear that up: No, X Saves the World is not a book about Jesus.
